Evergreen Heating & Cooling is proud to be a part of House Of Heroes CT chapter. HOHCT is the Connecticut branch of the House of Heroes project founded in 2000 in Columbus, GA, which has provided no-cost home repair services to more than 500 military and public service veterans and their spouses. Ben and Anthony both volunteer their time and expertise in helping veterans live in comfort in their own homes. Evergreen Heating & Cooling contributes time, effort and materials in many HVAC projects taken up by the House of Heroes CT organization. Letters like these make it all worth our time and effort.

He was extremely communicative and an excellent owner operator. He was fair, honest, and everyone on the team was the same way - from the crew to the office. We had an issue with cooling a few weeks after installation and Ben took the time to repair / diagnose the issue expeditiously, as well as ensure follow up that everything was going smoothly. I had heat pump installation with completely new duct work with a multi zone system running both a ducted air handler and a ductless unit. From the start of the process they made me feel confident in choosing them and I felt heard in the needs for my home. They made applying for permits and inspection seamless. Their communication both directly to the owner as well as his office staff was always friendly, accessible, efficient and effective. His team on site was extremely kind and professional and their work goes above and beyond. The attention to detail, tidiness and quality of work they performed in my home should be the industry standard.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. These folks just finished installing a Daikin heat pump for a basement. Absolutely brilliant work. Very clean and very professional. Their team is down to business, well trained and very polite. I am very very happy with how they did the install. This is the second job these guys did for us... They did our dual fuel Bosch last year and it has been a fantastic upgrade to our home. Got us through the winter with no problems and sipped electricity at a minimum level during the summer. And just as this job was the install was immaculate. Highly recommended. Update... I just had these guys in still a 3 head to ton mitsubishi mini split so I can have efficient temperature control in our bedroom. Everything was working great until it wasn't. Now any company  or install or I should say great reviews providing the hardware delivers.  The real test is when something goes wrong. Well some crazy thing is going wrong with our unit. I don't wanna drag any companies name down so I'm not gonna mention what the unit is at this point but suffice to say we've had to replace the unit twice. There were questions about what was actually going wrong. I will say Ben and his crew have not given up.  Ben has worked directly with the manufacturer to try to find the problem with our system and they continue to search for answers. Well it's definitely a little frustrating getting a system that has a unique problem but it's very comforting knowing that Evergreen is on top of things. So even though I've annoyed them a little bit they've stuck by me. I'll update this when a solution has been found one way or another.  So while sometimes things don't go perfectly if you have a good company working with you  that is all you can really ask for.  Problems occur... How people handle problems is the real test.

Ben (owner) came the next morning and spent more than an hour going over the pros and cons of repairs vs new furnace. I decided on new. After agreeing to the easy-to-read contract and paying the deposit, the new furnace arrived the next day. Ben came the following day at 7:20 am sharp, and with his team (family members) completed the job in a few hours. They were friendly, efficient, and the work area was left clean.
