Our Clients Say
Installation of On-Demand Water Heaters
On-demand water heaters, or tankless water heaters, are installed by a licensed plumber from Evergreen HVAC and typically involves the following steps:
Assessment
One of our professionals will be onsite and assess your hot water needs, existing plumbing system, and fuel source compatibility (natural gas or propane).
Unit Installation
Your licensed plumber will install the on-demand water heater at the designated location.
Gas Line Connection (if applicable)
For a natural gas or propane model, a gas line will be connected to the unit.
Water Line Connection:
Your cold and hot water lines will be connected to the unit in your home.
Electrical Connection:
Your licensed plumber will wire the system according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
Testing and Flushing System:
After the system is installed, your plumber will test the system for leaks and functionality. Once the system is confirmed to be working correctly, the system will be flushed to remove any air or debris.
Repair of On-Demand Water Heaters
While on-demand, or tankless, water heaters are historically reliable, occasional repairs may be required. These are a few of the common issues that one of Evergreen HVAC licensed plumbers can address and diagnose:
Ignition Problems
If your on-demand water heater is failing to ignite, the problem could be with the ignitor or the gas supply.
Temperature Fluctuations
Any fluctuations in your water temperature may indicate a faulty sensor or flow rate issues.
Leaks
A leak can develop over time around the connections to the system or within the unit itself.

FAQs
On-demand water heaters are ideal for homes with high hot water usage or limited space. However, they may not be suitable for homes with very low water flow rates or those requiring a large volume of hot water simultaneously (e.g., filling a bathtub and running the dishwasher at the same time).
